Grothouse Butcher blocks featured in Wood Mode Kitchen Design
Mar 14, 2012
Wood Mode Cabinetry just completed another stunning kitchen to add to their design portfolio. The creative visionary is John Troxell, Director of Design at Wood-Mode. The Elegant Traditions lifestyle theme featured in this kitchen incorporates multi-levels of wood countertops atop a large center island. The butcher block work surface is end grain Cherry with a Walnut and Wenge Border. Two Walnut butcher blocks flank the island, creating the tiered landscape. The butcher blocks are protected with food grade oil finish, safe for direct chopping and food preparation. “We’re continuing to see an interest in timeless, traditional designs that bring with them a sense of history and stability,” states John. For over 70 years, Wood-Mode has been widely recognized for excellence in cabinet design, material selection, construction and finishes. Look for Wood-Mode’s ads featuring Grothouse wood countertops in these National Publications in 2012; Architectural Digest and Elle Décor.
