How to use The Original Butcher Block Oil Finish

Apply a 2 inch diameter circle of oil directly to the clean wood surface. Spread the oil over the surface using a paper towel or cotton cloth. Add an additional thin coat of oil if needed. Be sure to oil the sides and exposed bottom of the countertop with the oil soaked cloth. Allow the oil to soak in overnight. If necessary, remove the excess with a dry cloth. Properly dispose of oily rags when done to prevent spontaneous combustion.

Your wood Countertop should be oiled at minimum once a month, or when the surface appears visually dry. The amount of oil required varies based on the amount of use and the environment.
