Aprons (Apron Styles)
APRONS ARE A UNIQUE FEATURE PLACED AROUND TABLE EDGES AND ARE AMONG MANY CHARACTERISTICS WE USE TO CUSTOMIZE THE LOOK, FEEL, AND UTILITY OF A TABLE.
Some aprons are purely aesthetic, whereas others may also have a practical application. This may be another consideration, depending on your intended use and your style preferences.
Integrating a typical bead apron will help to contain spills, whereas beaded roundovers are more ornate cuts that don’t have that particular utility but may look gorgeous on a dining room table.
Coves may be more practical if you’re seeking a desk table or workspace, as they allow space to set pens and pencils etc.
In all cases, rather than implementing a straight, flat surface, aprons enhance the complexity of the design.
The height of the apron is typically 4 inches and can be applied to any table shape.
IN ADDITION, THERE ARE A VARIETY OF OPTIONS AVAILABLE FOR TABLE SILHOUETTES.
Pictures of these designs are below as well. Please note also that an apron with a profile cannot have a silhouette.
If you’re interested in integrating a particular apron or silhouette into your custom table, feel free to let us know via a quote request form. This can be sent to us at email@example.com.
