Grothouse crafted a custom Sapele Mahogany butcher block countertop measuring 2-1/2″ thick x 37-3/4″ wide x 43-1/2″long in End Grain construction. The butcher block is coated with The Original Oil, an ideal finish for chopping surfaces as it is hypo-allergenic and so safe you can drink it. The butcher block created a much needed food preparation space and the Mahogany contrasts nicely with the soap stone perimeter countertops.
