About the Designer: Ernesto Sepulveda is the President of Forest Construction and Showcase Kitchens and Baths. Family owned with three showrooms Camarillo, Encino, and Westlake Village. Ernesto handles projects ranging from Powder Rooms to Additions to Custom Homes to Churches. Design/Build is his specialty.

A Tip From Ernesto: You have to understand how the area will be used. In this situation, kids will be eating on it, drawing on it and could even have some dancing. So we picked the a wood and finish that can handle it.

Flooring:  DuChateau

Countertops: Quartzite and Wenge

Faucet: Hansgrohe

Sink: Kallista

Backsplash: Waterworks

Wall Color: Custom

Stove: La Cornue

Dishwasher: Fisher

Other Appliances: Sub-Zero and Wolf

Additional Comments and Advice: It’s not if the wood will change color, it’s when. Always plan on stain wood finishes to change a tones . That’s okay it part of it’s beauty. It’s an organic product that can change over time. That’s personally why I like working with a lot of natural products. And also remember, this stuff is heavy and with any floating furniture always plan on an additional 300 lbs when putting in support.
