A Tip from John: Flow of every space is important to its function; when done well, will enhance the family’s lifestyle and enjoyment of the space. For this project, which won the recent Sub Zero and Wolf Kitchen Design Contest, we repurposed an underused hallway separating the kitchen from the dining room. The 6 feet was incorporated into kitchen. By adding a peninsula countertop, wine cooler, wet bar, and an abundance of more storage of glass- and solid-front cabinetry, made entertaining in this space…a ‘piece of cake.’
