The January edition of Home & Design Sourcebook featured a large, Wood butcherblock countertop top manufactured by Grothouse. The 71″ X 118″ End Grain Maple and Wenge Checkerboard island was arced on one side and became the centerpiece of the kitchen. The design was featured as part of the National Kitchen & Bath Association‘s design trends for 2009.
