Grothouse crafted a custom Sapele Mahogany Wood Counter for the large kitchen island. It is flat grain construction the highlights the grain of the wood. The countertop measures 4-1/2 feet wide x 8 feet long and contains an undermount sink. The Sapele Mahogany Counter is distressed to provide an aged appearance, a black glaze is applied to highlight the distressing and the counter is sealed with waterproof Durata® finish with a satin sheen. The island sits atop a striking green kitchen island, creating much needed storage and a large workspace.
