Congratulations to Wendy F. Johnson, CKD, CBD of Designs for Living, for winning NKBA Best Kitchen Award. The large kitchen is in a new home that overlooks a golf course. Her breathtaking design includes products from Wolf, Miele Subzero Bentwood, and Thinkglass. A wenge countertop crafted by Grothouse was used in the baking station and a separate dining island. Wendy Johnson mixed warm wood and stainless cabinetry to add drama to the design. “Wenge with a permanent finish adds a warm touch to the dining Island. Terrazzo provides a great pattern and total functionality in the working and cooking spaces.
