About the Designer: Diana Burton earned her degree in business at Indiana University, Bloomington, and went on to study fashion design. When she took on a total remodel of her own kitchen, she discovered a passion for interiors and decided to go back to school to focus on kitchen and bath design. For the past eight years, Diana has been designing custom kitchens, cabinetry, architectural millwork, and collaborating with clients to create beautiful personal spaces. “I am passionate about learning what my clients are hoping to achieve with their remodel projects and helping them reach those goals. Additional Comments and Advice: The homeowners love to entertain and they wanted a top with low maintenance that was already distressed. This kitchen island top matched the oak floors and gave a warmth to the room.
