Stained Reclaimed Wood Countertops crafted by Grothouse are a true piece of history.  Our salvaged reclaimed wood is predominantly gathered from antique Pennsylvania barns. Turning the wood into Stained Reclaimed wood countertops is a form of artistry. Each board has natural imperfections that tell a story centuries old.

Reclaimed Wood Countertops take many forms at Grothouse. Clients have recycled them for use as vanity countertops, bar tops, kitchen counters and even planter boxes. They add an organic element to the space. The timeless appeal of the wood enhances traditional, transitional and contemporary designs. The prevalent antique reclaimed woods available at Grothouse are Oak, Heart Pine and Chestnut.

While the natural reclaimed wood is beautiful in itself, some clients desire a stain application. This blog covers the topic of Stained Reclaimed Wood Countertops crafted by Grothouse. The featured photography is of a Stained Reclaimed Chestnut Countertop designed by Geneva Cabinet Gallery.
