About the Designer: Bianca launched Splendid Home Design on the foundation of creating living spaces where intimate stories are written and told. This is made possible by synthesizing her knowledge of the construction industry, artistic background, and love for people. Her portfolio of projects can be found throughout the Treasure Coast, from Palm Beach Island to Port Saint Lucie. Breathing life into homes has become a passion that Bianca treasures and cultivates. She loves traveling and discovering the lesser-known parts of her favorite places, going out of her way to draw inspiration from the places she visits and bringing unique styles and stories from around the world to her projects.
Designer Tip: We wanted to incorporate a huge walnut butcher block for our client who is an avid cook that would bring a warm and organic touch to her kitchen.

Design Details
Cozinha Feliz, which is Portuguese for “Happy Kitchen” features a Grothouse Walnut butcher block designed for one section of the island. The other part of the island features banquette seating at a custom Walnut Pedestal Table, also crafted by Grothouse. In the kitchen pantry resides a matching Walnut butcher block.
