Notes: This design demonstrates how marble and wood can be paired together to create the ultimate kitchen island. The marble kitchen island counter includes a sink and provides food preparation space. The wood counter provides a warm and inviting space to sit. By raising the wood counter slightly above the marble, the designer added depth to the island.
