Sapele Mahogany Countertops can be made in three construction styles: Flat Grain Construction (also known as Wide Plank), Edge Grain Construction, and End Grain Construction (also known as Butcher Block).

Sapele Mahogany Countertops are commonly distressed with a hand rubbed glaze and our Durata Finish, as shown in the picture below.

Sapele Mahogany is typically used for furniture and cabinet making. It originates from Africa. The tree typically grows to be about 150 feet high (45 meters). Cadillac used Sapele wood for their interior wood trim on their vehicles. Sapele Mahogany is available FSC certified.
